whose conscience - and an empty stomach - cause him to want to cross
the Potomac River and give himself up in the spring of
1865.
Filming on horribly hot summer days
started to look pretty good while sitting by Whitson Pond in the
middle of January.
Director Meredith Bean McMath and Cinematographer Peter Buck got the
takes as quickly as possible so they could head back to a warm
editing room!
