For over 28 years, Meredith Bean McMath has written and produced living history programs and presentations for museums, history and civic organizations.  Venues have included Ford's Theatre, the National Museum of American History, The Newseum and the National Trust's Oatlands Plantation, and organizations as diverse as the Romance Writers of America and the Girl Scouts of America. McMath's presentation of "Having a Ball," produced at Oatlands Plantation, became the basis of Run, Rabbit, Run's first documentary which aired several times on The History Channel between 1998 and 2000.  An award-winning playwright, McMath is often commissioned to create living history programs for specific events, such as "the Abolionist Fundraiser" for the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, seen above.  Her most recent work wasThe Museum of the Shenandoah Valley's "Lights, Camera, Art" summer 2008 event, in which characters from 1670 to 1950 sprang to life from the Museum's oil paintings.
