GUIDELINES

 

 


  

TO SUBMIT INFORMATION

1. List yourself as a participating Loudoun Performing Arts organization (one time only.  If already listed, go to Number 2)

 

2. Submit Information on your show, event, auditions or classes by simply adding the following email address to your existing press release media list:  

LoudounPerformingArts@gmail.com

 

Within Three Days of Your Submission:

1. Your SHOW OR EVENT will be posted on the LPA Calendar.  We will take key information from your press release  and a show/event logo from your website or press release to create a 50 word description with links to your web page from the block show/event logo, as well as a "Find out more..." link at the end of the calendar description (if you prefer a specific 50-word description and logo, email those to the above email address)

2.  Your AUDITION NOTICE will be posted in full on the Loudoun Auditions page.  Audition Notices must be for set dates for a specific show or production, and notice will be removed after the audition dates have past.  Your Audition Notice will be added to the  list on a first-come, first-served basis — not by chronological audition date — so send information as soon as possible.

3. Your CLASS/ES will be posted on the Resources page.

BE LISTED AS A
PARTICIPATING LOUDOUN PERFORMING ARTS GROUP

The Contributing Organization/Group listing is a free public service.   If you are an organization dedicated to presenting performing arts (music, theatre, dance) in Loudoun County, VA and are organized as one of the following:

• a non-profit with federal designation as a 501(c) 3

• like a non-profit with a Board of Directors, managers, performers and volunteers

• an unincorporated association run entirely by volunteers for the common good and general welfare of Loudoun County residents

... then LoudounPerformingArts.com is pleased to add your organization or group to our listing.

Email LoudounPerformingArts@gmail.com the following 5 pieces of information:

  1. Your Organization or Group's Performance Category (theatre, dance or music);
  2. Name of Organization;
  3. Organization/Group logo (jpeg or pdf  equal or less than 150 pixels high and 500 pixels wide) which includes a one-sentence description.  EXAMPLE:



  4. Web Address (one URL which will be used to link your organization's logo to an official website or MySpace page);
  5. Business address (the address will not be posted, but the organization must be based in Loudoun County, Virginia).

Logo will be posted within two weeks of submission (events and performances are a priority) and listed alphabetically under categories of Theatre, Dance or Music.

 

 

 

 

 

ADD YOUR STUDIO OR CLASSES

This list may include all Loudoun County Dance, Music and Theatre Studios, Individual Dance, Music or Theatre Teachers, and Classes, Camps, etc. that involve Performing Arts Education in Loudoun County.  The listing is posted under Resources in alphabetical order.  To be added, email LoudounPerformingArts@gmail.com ALL of the following:


 
  • One headshot / logo / image - 120x120 pixel jpeg or PDF;
  • Description of 50 words or less;
  • Contact email address and/or website address of business or personal website, resume html page or MySpace page;
  • Your Loudoun County address (the classes must be held in Loudoun County, and your business must be based in Loudoun County).

 

 

 


ADD YOURSELF AS A PERFORMER OR FOR-HIRE PERFORMANCE GROUP

This list includes individual Loudoun County performers, groups and bands (music, dance or theatre) that are either based in Loudoun County or wish to performin Loudoun County, Virginia.  Listing is alphabetical.  To be included, email LoudounPerformingArts@gmail.com ALL of the following:


 
  • One headshot / logo / image - 120x120 pixel jpeg or PDF (does not need to be professionally done);
  • Description of 50 words or less (actor, singer, dancer or combo, band, experience, venues, etc.);
  • Contact email address and/or website address of business or personal website, resume html page or MySpace page;

Note: Information will be posted within two weeks of submission (events and performances are a priority).  If you do not send ALL of the above information, we reserve the right to ignore your email.
