August 21, 27 & 28 AUDITIONS:
for "The Wizard of Oz "
The Pickwick Players will present the classic, beloved musical, "The Wizard
of Oz" for their fall musical.
THREE AUDITION DATES SCHEDULED:
Saturday, August 21st, 2 - 5 pm

Friday, August 27, 7-10 pm

Saturday, August 28, 3-4 pm

Casting roles for adults, teens and children (age 8 or more), dance and choral ensembles. Come prepared with a 16 bar musical audition and 1 minute memorized monologue. No appointment necessary but please email intent to audition to thepickwickplayers@gmail.com.

AUGUST 24 & 27 AUDITIONS
for "Once Upon A Christmas Carol"
LOOKING FOR:
1. Eighteen Actors age 8-88 who enjoy comedies, improvisation and singing their hearts out
2. Proficiency in English accents from Cockney to upper crust - preferably both, because...
3. Beyond the role of Scrooge, every actor will be playing multiple roles in this lively production
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must sign up for a ten-minute audition slot for the above dates
2. Prepare a 1-2 minute comic monologue and expect to do cold readings from the script
3. Prepare two songs: one ballad and one up-beat - 16 to 32 bars of each
4. BRING YOUR SHEET MUSIC (piano accompanist provided)

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Once Upon A Christmas Carol will be presented in Hillsboro December 3-19; the show is an original musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol by prize-winning playwright Meredith Bean McMath and Diane El-Shafey (Stage Director Meredith Bean McMath and Musical Director Diane El-Shafey). Once Upon a Christmas Carol is the first production of many to come at the Old Stone School and the product of a unique partnership with the nonprofit Hillsboro Community Association which restored and maintained the city-owned property as a community center. Run Rabbit Run will be presenting community-oriented theatre arts and arts education in The Old Stone School to enrich the community and provide a performing arts outlet for community youth and adults.
