CIVIL WAR PROGRAMS

The first Civil War program presented by Run Rabbit Run in honor of the Sesquicentennial, All for the Union in Confederate Virginia, was produced in July of 2011 in Hillsboro, Virginia.  In May 2012, Run Rabbit Run, in conjunction with Franklin Park Arts Center, will present the day time school program, "Between the Hawk and the Buzzard: Civil War in the Border County of Loudoun Virginia."

During the Civil War Sesquicentennial celebration, Run Rabbit Run will produce selected stories to present through theatre or living history programs. To be informed of upcoming theatre and living history events, simply provide your name and email address to RRRtheatre@gmail.com.

ABOUT THE WRITER / PRODUCER

Published historic fiction author, prize-winning playwright and award-winning historian MEREDITH BEAN McMATH is the co-founder of Run, Rabbit, Run Productions, Inc., and Managing Editor of LoudounPerformingArts.com. She holds a B.A. in History from the College of William and Mary and an M.S. in Arts Administration from Shenandoah University.  Her living history plays have been commissioned schools, libraries, theatre companies and museums such as the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History and the National Trust's Oatlands Plantation, and her Run, Rabbit, Run history videos have appeared on The History Channel and in Virginia classrooms.  Find out more at www.storyroot.com.
